Attendance: Beth, Katy, Adam, Janae, Jerad, Bryan
Fundraising at national convention! Iowa students will be selling keychains
for canes. Five dollars apiece. One dollar of each sale will go to the
affiliate. Students attending convention will be helping sell hats,
popcorn, and scissors at the Iowa table.
 Student spring social in Cedar Rapids! April 28 at 4:00 PM. At Sam’s
house. Contact him for the address: 319-899-8707 weather pending, we will
be cooking out.
GroupMe and Facebook will continue to be used for future notifications.
Notes will be sent out through the student listserv.
Recommendations for growing membership to the affiliate out reach
committee. Possible letters to colleges and high schools. Posting
signs/handouts in hospitals in large cities.
Newsletter for the Iowa students? Could be sent out to a wide array of
people in order to reach potential  members.
NABS convention planning committee: NABS Olympics, exhibit hall table, NABS

Fundraising for NABS: coupon sales experiment
Legislative committee: working on access technology affordability act.
Trying to get letters in support of the bill. Also working on getting
knowledge about Bill making two students. Self advocacy tool kit. Looking
for success stories about advocacy. Questions? Contact Brian at:

Guidelines for state funding to attend national convention will be sent out
by Jerad soon.
Activities at convention will include a party event, hospitality suite,
information table helpers, and door prizes for the banquet.
Katy urges each of us to join a chapter near us. At-large chapter meet the
third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM same call in number and code.
Next student call will be May 20 at 7:00 PM
