Eileen, What is a flip coat?

My Christmas stocking was filled with crafting supplies.  There 
were 4 punches for card making which included a heart, a 
butterfly, a snowflake and a flower.  Also a few earrings and 
bracelet fasteners.  And for knitting I received stitch holders 
and markers and the rubber stoppers to go on the ends of needles.

I have looked for the lifeline you told us about in class but I 
have not been able to find one.  I have tried to use the large 
safety pin type of stitch holders as a lifeline but it didn't 
work for me.  I ended up loosing stitches.  You mentioned in 
class that at this point the lifeline might be confusing for us 
and I think you are probably right.
