Hey Terry,

Thank you for your input. I'm not sure what you mean by the "diaginal"
stitch. Do you mean "diagonal"? I'm not sure if I quite understand your
description of coming from the lower left and ending at the upper right.
This stitch I'm referring to is straight up and down., in the same column,
say for example, up 1-1 and down 2-1.

As for the jagged edge, it looks decorative to me, so, as long as it doesn't
snag the tissue, I'd keep it. I put those straight little stitches in each
pair of squares in the edging. They look fanned out in this way. I also
did overcast stitching around those points too.

this project has actually turned into a challenge, not just because of the
jagged edging, but also the different size and shapes of two of the other
pieces. I think she may have gotten confused, or I ruined them because I
tried to modify them into those that make more sense to me. If you'd like a
more detailed description, I can fill you in on it later. I'm going to use
some of my fresh pieces to cut for those two. It won't exactly be cubed
like I thought it would be, and there are five pieces, not six, so I decided
it will be like a body-length hat that you slip over the end of the tissue
box, and the box will stand up on end, with the opening for the tissue
facing toward you instead of facing up like a lid.

As for samples, you're welcome to send anything you'd like to share with me.
But I do have the pattern for the diagonal stripe cover. You may write me
off-list.

thanks again!

Sharon
