Marianne:

No matter how many, its always a very nice gift to get something hand made.
A gift of your time and talents are always appreciated by people. I'm sure
your students will love the hats and the scarf. Two weeks ago, which was
one week prior to my prayer shawls Christmas dinner, one of the women
brought up the subject of doing a gift exchange. I was getting worried that
it was going to be a matter of bringing something hand made. If they would
have brought the subject up in November I think I would have voted for it.
I was relieved that others in the group didn't want to do any type of
exchange this year. We just had our dinner out together. Whew, what a
relief! I don't mind making small gifts, but need a lot of lead time to get
my act together.
