Joyce,

I tried to answer you email but it didn't go through and I got a little
distracted. I have already encouraged folks in our chapter to join but
we need to work a little slower on do such things. We have the very tech
savvy and the not so much so.

]By the way, Terry, where did you obtain the tools and what do they
consist of? 0

Super! Maybe I or those from VA know them.

Terry

Also, the earring idea sounds great!

Laurie; can we learn how to make a wire wrap around bracelet and learn
how to crimp the ends. I have been examining ones in my office gift
shop and have some great ideas. I even saw a large beaded bracelet and
it had large links of chain inter twined from side to side of the beaded
bracelet. The links covered a few beads and went through to the other
side and covered a few and back to the frunt.

We need to go over, as a groop, what spacer beads are for.
I was talking about beading to a friend, outside of the group. We need
to learn some more names for kinds of beads. What is a bead called when
it is pointed at each end and fat in the middle, like 2 triangles, back
to back. What are they called with a bumpy texture, with a smoothe
texture. I could go one and one. I already have a tool kit, but have not
tried to use it. My friend helped me buy it with a gift card, last
year.

Terry

Joy,

Since you are a chapter president,

Please do encourage your folks to join us over here at Krafters Korner
or at least promote the classes we offer.

Getting the word out to as many people about what we do here I hope
everyone will put this on their list of "to do's for 2010"! The more
people we get to join us the more opportunities we all will have to
learn new crafting skills and projects.

I heard from a lady yesterday that wants to join us and she lives in
Baltimore. She is blind and her Mom is losing her sight and she plans
on signing them both up for our group.
