Hi Valerie, Another thing to keep in mind is that different wool/animal fibers will shrink differently, just because. By differently I mean some will shrink more or less than others, so experimentation is the key. I've been on a felting streak for a while and just love it! It's also a great way of using up scraps of wool and alpaca. Liz
