Actually, I'm not sure that either of the trainers get to name any of them
as they are named by a committee to set it all up in the breeding records
that The Seeing Eye so meticulously keeps. I am currently at the Leader Dog
school receiving training with my Trekker and I've learned that the puppy
raiser get to name them here, in addition to those who donate a given
amount. The latter is the same as the Seeing Eye.
On a dog and craft related point, do any of you have knitting patterns for
dog coats?

When I went for my dog in 81 from Seeing Eye, they told us that each puppy
litter is given a letter and the trainers get to give them their names. I
don't know if that means the puppy trainers or the dog guide trainers. My
dog was a female Golden Retreaver named Posie and she had a sister named
Pansie that went out in a class before mine. It probably depends on the
school.
