The act of being kind has come up several times as I continue to get my BS 
degree.  The first semester I was so alienated; no one would talk to me, 
walk to class with me, etc.  This semester however, I have a wonderful 
friend who feels the same way I do about several "invisible populations" and 
I feel so much better.  My Dad always says "just be kind!'
