I guess I am doing something like that, by giving to toys for tots.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] You're gonna wish you were in King Soopers with me today!

When I lived in New Hampshire, I worked in the toll booths on the weekends for some extra money! Around Thanksgiving, people would start driving through the tolls and pay for the car behind them. As I worked early in the morning, it would sometimes be 15 minutes or so until another car came along and I could say "The car in front of you paid your toll", although there would be no car in sight! This lasted through Christmas and into the new year.
I was reminded of this this morning as I went to King Soopers to grab a soda as my sugars were getting low. In the line next to me was a Grandma with just a few things in her cart. I walked up to the cashier and quietly handed him a $20 and told him I wanted to buy her groceries. The Grandma kept looking around wondering who on earth bought her groceries! I don't know who the Grandma was, a total stranger to me.
Anyway, it makes my heart feel good, so I am asking y'all to do the same and pass it forward. Be kind to someone from now until the new year, whatever you can do!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!
Love,
Diane
