Hi folks: 

Here is a class announcement for the month of September ... 

Title:  Knitting Cast On Techniques.
instructor:  Eileen. 
email:  ETSCRIVANI at VERIZON.NET
start date: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 8:00 pm (Eastern). 
number of sessions: two, possibly a third if necessary on Tuesday Sept 15
for the second session, & Tuesday Sept 22 for session 3 if needed. 
sign up deadline: Friday, September 5. 
description:  This class will teach 4 methods of cast on; cable cast on,
simple crochet cast on, Long-tail method (both knit & purl).  The class
assumes a basic knowledge of knitting and participants should know at least
1 method of casting on (does not matter what technique you currently know). 
supplies needed:1 pair knitting needles, 1 crochet hook, & oddments of yarn
in an appropriate weight for the size needles you will use (quantity enough
to cast on and perhaps work a few rows).
