If you use the same patern on a small grid it will be smaller than if you use a larger grid.
Say you are making a square, 20 by 20. on 10 count canvis it will be smaller than on 7 count canvis, even though you used 20 squares in both items. Seven count has larger squares and is easier to work with and I like the looks of the product better.
I was not tought any names for the stitches. Cross stitch is done on a canvas with tiny holes. I do have a book on stitches. New stitches is something we can tackle as a group. Lets learn the basics first.
