The light bright would great for creating a patern for this.  How neet, a case with a beaded letter or cross.

What size hook have you used?  What size bead and yarn?
 
I have thought of crocheting with beads, but have not done much research on  it.
 
The beads that I have in my house would all be too small for any of  this.
