When you knit with beads you take the strand of yarn or beginning of yarn
coming off the ball of yarn and you have to thread all the beads on the yarn
first. Many projects tell you exactly how many and of what color in the
order you need to put the beads on. Then you begin to knit. It is
something that you need to plan out.

You don't want to have to cut the yarn and add beads as you go along as the
yarn may not feed through the bead holes and then the beads will not end
up in the proper place.
