Webs is the best place to purchase the Cascade 220 yarn.  They had it  on 
sale.  I am not sure if it is still on sale or not, but if you purchase  $60  
or more you get 20% off.  So I am thinking it was $5.99 per ball  and I got 
10 or balls plus stitch markers or something and I got 20% off.
 
If you are going to use this for the military hats you can get 6 knitted  
hats out of 5 balls of Cascade 220.
