Cindy,

Now from the description of your foot, you might like the sock pattern I
created. I believe I casted on 15 stitches and then knit back and forth in
a garter stitch to create a rectangle. Depending on what type of yarn you
use and the size of the needles this can vary in size a bit. I usually
used size 3 needles and I worked it so it would fit the long side from the
middle of my big toe to the middle of my little toe. Now with a 12 inche
circular needle when I got the rectangle the size I wanted it, I would work
around the outside of the edge of the rectangle and pick up and knit as I
picked up around the edge. I would work like 2 or 3 stitches in the corner of
the rectangle placing something like a total of 64 stitches or something
divisible by 4 stitches. Now I have done this several ways, but the easy
way is just keep knitting around on these 64 stitches until it fits past
your heel and end it off with a ribbing of knit 2, purl 2 for a few inches
or if you want a fold down cuff do it longer. No heel. Actually, I love
doing it this way when I use a little heavier weight yarn, like the sport
weight. The garter stitch in the toe makes it feel a little padded and you
just created a tube sock. No heel, no kitchener stitching and with the fancy
sock yarn they have all the pattern work or stripes are done by themselves.
