[Nfb-krafters-korner] knitting sock Cindy

I may have to try this since I don't like a seam on my toes. Currently, I do
a modified figure eight cast-on. It is a little bit of a pain to knit the
first row to make sure that you don't accidentally lose any of the end
stitches. I start with 48 stitches and increase on both sides for a few rows
and then switch to just increasing on the side by my little toes. This works
out for me because I am one of those rather anal people about having a sock
for the right foot and one for the left. I use the wizpegs to keep them
together in the laundry so they are always matched as a pair. Even when I
did laundry by sight, each pair had a right and left because they would
stretch out more on one side and leave the inside toe pointed.
