[Nfb-krafters-korner] FQ: Santa's making his list. What do you want on it?

Well, depending on what kind of yarn or product I am looking for, there are
several on-line stores I have had very good success with and have been happy
with quality, service & delivery. It's important for Santa to know to sign
up & register with on-line stores where he will be buying his gifts so that
he always gets the best deals on prices, sales & sometimes even free
shipping. I bet delivery costs to the North Pole are pretty pricey these
days and even Santa has to be cost conscious!
The on-line stores I like are:
1. Webb's (America's Yarn Store) at www.yarn.com (I think now they even
have a web site that sells beads & beading supplies).
2. Knit Picks has great needles & some good yarn selections to as well as
lots of other stuff: www.knitpicks.com
3. Like Lynda said www.Elann.com is also excellent with good prices on
quality yarns and if you register with them, every time you purchase yarn
(no matter how long it takes) they accumulate the dollars you spend as
points and sooner or later you will get a $50 certificate to spend with
them. Since they are a Canadian company I have found that shipping costs
can be pretty expensive.
4. www.littleknits.com has some good prices on really good yarn, but they
seem not to have the full line of color selections on their yarns but their
prices are excellent.
The Above are all for more of the natural fiber types of yarns and good
quality needles, if I am looking for less expensive yarns (acrylic) or
general purpose craft items both of the below old standards seem to always
come through for me:
5. www.Herrschners.com or
6. www.joann.com
