OK, Mary. Here is the easiest Prayer Shawl you can make. You can buy the
yarn at Michaels of JoAnn stores. This is entired done by knitting only and
you need no stitch markers or anything else - just plain knitting.

Simple Prayer Shawl

Needles:  Size  10.5
Lion Brand Homespun Yarn: You will need about 4 skeins

Check your gage before you begin to find out if you need larger or smaller
needles to get the gage.

12 stitches plus 20 rows equal 4 inches
BE SU"RE TO CHECK your gage first before you begin knitting the shawl.;

____BEGIN THE SHAWL

Cast on 60 stitches

Work in Garter Stitch - that means, KNIT every row.

Work until you have 60 inches.
Bind Off. Use a tapestry needle to weave in your ends.

Your shawl is finished!  WUNDERBAR.
