Yes, I think Homespun is not easy for a beginner to use as it can be very
splitty and also hard to rip out mistakes, or even SEE them. A very plain
worsted is better so that a beginner can find the mistakes and can fix them
much easier and it does not split so much usually. Good luck with your new
knitted scarf - it will be fun to wear something you made, won't it!
I love wearing my knitted things - and people always notice them and make
good comments. A knitted accessorie adds pizazz to your outfit! lol
