[Nfb-krafters-korner] Home spun yarn

Terry:

It's in the nature of these buccle yarns to "bunch" up like that if you pull
with too much tension while knitting. Both the Lion Brand Home Spun & the
Lion Brand Buccle yarns are examples of similar types of yarn that can do
the exact same thing. I suspect that they are all spun very loosely that is
what makes them so soft to the touch, so if you pull the working yarn with
too much tension it will happen with all of them. I am a very tight
knitter so even when I make the effort to handle those yarns more gently it
can happen. If I find it occurring I just gently take my fingers on the
working strand of yarn and push the bunching fibers towards the knitting
needle so it will even up and get knit into the project. Try not to push it
down towards the ball because then the bunch will just get worse. I don't
know if this is the best way or if there are other ways of dealing with it,
but it works for me.

Honestly, I have not yet received my order of the Circus yarn, but based on
the description, I am anticipating it is going to be a nubby, soft buccle
yarn and will have these characteristics.

Eileen
