Hi Marti,
I am a bead worker, too. I was a college arts and humanities professor and
my career came to an end three years ago when I woke up with Ischemic Optic
Neuropathy - you are blinded quickly and without warning.
Until I found the people here on the NFB Krafters-Korner, It hought I could
not do beadworking again. But, after hearing others who are doing it, I
decided to get out my small beads and give it a try again. That was just a
couple months ago. I AM doing encrusted beadworking again, which is what I
love to do. It is just amazing but without this group of people on this
list, I would still be thinking I cannot do a lot of things I am now doing.
The folks here really encouraged me so much - I am so grateful to have found
this place.
Welcome, and you will be doing beadwork again, too. GOOD for you. Lynda
