[Nfb-krafters-korner] hello

I szaw what I thought was a prayer shawl at the knitting circle.  It had large holes in it like it was done with large needles.  I think they said they used size 13 needles.  How is this going to keep anyone warm?  What size do you use.  Maybe what I saw was a scarf.  What do you think?

I like to do Prayer Shawls. I make them for my fall holiday arts and crafts boutiques, and I make them for a local church who donates them to petients who are going through chemo, and others who are sick. I recently gave one to a friend who has transverse myelitis and they suffer a lot from the cold with this terrible disease. She was so thrilled, put it on immediately and wore it home over her coat.  Later, she told me she never took it off that evening and that she just loves it. So, it is such a blessing to be able to share our knitting love with others in this way.

I also make a lot of shrugs, and swing jackets, that I sell. I just love to knit!
