Terry:

If you are interested, there is a Patton's yarn on special today at 
Herrschners.  The yarn is called Decor & it is an acrylic & wool blend.  I 
have knit with it and it is a nice yarn with good yardage.  They have a 
small selection of about 13 colors on sale.  This yarn would also be fine 
for the beginner knitting class.
