Yes. This does help me understand more clearer. I am still wanting to
inquire if any of these programs can be downloaded as a demo, and which
should be the one to download.

Thanks for your suggestion, I will definely save this info to consider soon.

I think you might be missing that you can't just save a document as an
audio. You need some kind of software that can convert text to audio. If you
do not already own either of the scanning programs that have this feature,
you might want to invest in TextAloud. It think it is either $19.99 or
$29.99. I haven't checked recently.

The people that are using the text directly have devices that have built-in
converters or a form of screenreader that offers text-to-speech. Notetakers
and various book devices like the Victor Stream all have this function. That
is what enables people to simply use the text file.
