Maryanne,

I do not have either Open Book or Kerswell 1000, I do have the N-86 KNFB
mobil reader and I think I am getting an Open book in August, but not sure.
I have the Touuch of Yarn in a Word doc only.

If you can do anthing with that I would appreciate it.

Terry

Terry, it is hard to say which of the tdownload them to portable devices. I

can also identify paper money with Kurzweil. If I were you I would go to
the company websites for both and see what they say about their latest
versions.

You should check the differences between them and make your own decision.
It seems like most of us prefer the one we learned to use first. I have
used Kurzweil 1000 for over 10 years and have kept it current most of the
time but I know people who prefer Open Book. I can scan books and
magazines, open PDF documents, send faxes, create DAISY and MP3 files and wo

major programs are best.

Did you purchase that knitting book? If so, I have created an MP3 and can
make it available to you. Otherwise, if you want to see how a document
sounds when it is read using synthesized speech let me know and I can create

a different MP3 and send it to you.
