[Nfb-krafters-korner] question about size of tapestry needles

I am not sure, so anyone jump in here , if there is sizes the bigger the  
needle the larger the eye and the easier for you to get yarn through it.
 
Terr P. uses needle point needles for her plastic canvas and she uses  
worstered weight yarn.  It seems to me she had said she uses size 16  needles.  
They are blunt needles with large eyes.
