I love bead embroidery too.  I learned some simple stitches from a website 
and used an object like a button and followed the shape as I stitched on the 
beads.  It is hard to come up simple objects that are small.  I would like 
to come up with something like a stencil that would stick to the fabric.  I 
am still experimenting and use very basivc stitches and shapes. .
