My husband or my grand daughter drive me to a regional arts center. It is
about 1 hour from my home, but nothing is closer. I am working on learning
pottery there, from the teacher who is a nun. She is so wonderful and she
had no problem when I first went into her class. She thinks of ways to help
me understand what I need to do. I am slow at doing the wheel, but dong a
lot of hand building and it is going very good. I will keep on going, and
learn to do better at the wheel. It just takes time and patience. I have
both! I hope you can try it. Do you have any kind of art center near where
you live that gives classes? If so, that would be the place to learn, I
think.
