They do use bar codes that you scan and about 99% of things have bar
codes on them. Now I know they have improved this baby an awful lot since ai
got mine. As now they have a data base with many items in there already.
The best is they have gone down in price.

I think Carol has one of these newer ones.

With the old one or with the new one you can enter in bar code numbers that
are not in it. You scan the bar code and then I would verbally say what
the fragrance oil name is. Once you put it in there when whenever you scan
it, it will repeat what you called it. You could purchase barcode labels
to use and attach to things that did not have bar code labels on. So if
you had a CD that has a barcode you could scan it and say what it is and you
were good to go. The bottles of fragrance oils did not have bar code
labels so I had ones to put on the bottle. They made bar code labels that you
could attach with rubber bands, labels you could sew into clothing and the
stick on ones.

I would love to have a newer model.
