Laurie;
I am using fire line and a bracelet I gave my sister for Christmas broke. Is there such a thing as fake fire line or cheap brands. She never told me what caused it. Her kids bracelets have held up.

I like useing Fireline or Power Pro for the beads that could cut through the conventional thread. I find thread to give beadwork a more supple flexibility that even thin wires like soft flex or bead a lon can do. The fireline is very strong and resists cutting by sharp edged beads like gem stones and crystals.
