[Nfb-krafters-korner] Convention Elections

Hello folks,
I to am up  for re-election for the President of the National  Federation 
of the Blind Krafters Division.  It was just two years ago when  some folks 
had met in Dallas and Dr. Mauer put me and Cindy together    with Romona to 
come up with a Constitution for our newly forming division.   I had been 
running the email list "Krafters Korner for less then a year and  there was 
enough interest with the folks on the list to move forward making this  a new 
division of NFB.
 
We have come quite a ways in the last 2 years expanding classes.  Our  
first class was given by our Second Vice President Laurie Porter prior to the  
Dallas Convention  in 2008.  
 
I am so proud of all the work the board members have done and we have a lot 
 more to go out and do.
 
I am working hard on expanding our membership and getting the word out  
about Krafters Korner.  I am proud of all the folks that have taught our  
classes.   Cindy has done a lot on getting the web site up and  working.  Diane 
handles the money and membership.  Audrey is a great  listener busy reading 
emails and letting me bounce ideas off her.  Ramona  has been a great adviser 
to us all.  
 
So the folks running for offices are:
President: Joyce Kane, First Vice President: Cindy Sheets, second Vice  
President: Laurie Porter, Secretary: Audrey Wellner and Treasurer: Diane  
Fillipe.
