[Nfb-krafters-korner] Field trip idea for those unable to make it to New York

For those of you would like to do some type of field trip local to where you
live, here is an idea that I've come up with.  See if you can work with your
local NFB Chapter, or local rehab agency and a local yarn shop to offer a
tour of the store (I refer to this as a time to pet all of the great yarn),
and some type of class like intro to knitting or crocheting.  The class type
would depend on the interest from local participants.  An event like this
would have many benefits such as introducing knitting and/or crocheting to
new crafters, and promote the NFB and Krafters Korner.
 
For those of you who do ceramics or pottery, or just about any craft , could
do something similar.
