I know you are working on the smallest  nifty loom, but I think you  need 
more even for a bay hat then 4 or 5 rows.  If you remember we were  talking 
inches last night, not rows.  Even if you don't do that band type  thing you 
want the hat to roll up a little so I am not sure but a couple of  inches if 
you don't want the band.  We will be doing the band next week so  everyone 
will know how to do it.
 
So iif you are doing the band it needs to be double the width of the  band. 
 Baby probably 2 to 3 inches
