Ah!!  OK, I think I get it now; I was doing up-over 1, then up-over 2,
then up-over 1, then up-over 2.  I'll have to do it the other way
after I finish the one I've re-started with the continental stitch.
And now I know what to do with the tail, too.  So in the center, on
your pattern, it looks like you're indicating some uber-sized stitches
on that block bit.  Am I reading that right
