Like I said about doing the square, slide the tail under about 4 of the previous stitches.  It looks best to do this at the end, where you would be making your next turn or after your tiny stitch.

OK, you know what happens when I get more than one idea running around my head at once, don't you?  '-)  They sort of converge to spawn other ideas.  So...now I'm working on a single-color mix of Terry's loop pattern and the continental stitch.  '-)  I think it's looking pretty neat so far.  '-)  One question I have though: what do you do with the end of the working yarn when you've finished the piece/
