As I got out of the cab this morning, I gave the driver an extra $10 for the next person he picked up. Cash that I saved when a friend offered me a lift home from a meeting the other day when I happened to run into him at the restaurant where our two very different meetings were being held.

>> I love it! I'll have to try that myself this weekend. Unfortunately with Carrs and Fred Meyer they don't have that invisibility; I'll have to come up with some other way of being inconspicuous. '-) I might actually do it with cab/bus fare instead since you can't tell who gets on at the stop before you. Plus often bus folks could really use the help.

The woman replied "I don't know where the cash came from" and the cashier replied "I was told to use this cash towards your order". "Oh my God, I'm going to cry", she replied (just the reaction I was hoping for!) The good thing about King Soopers is that they are set up so you don't have to see the next person in line behind you if you don't, so she never knew it was me.
>>> As this holiday season is going to be extra hard for me due to the death of my Grandma, I am at peace knowing I paid all of my Grandmas kindness forward. Please do the same.
