[Nfb-krafters-korner] FQ: Are you crafting gifts for the holidays?

Hi:

I haven't made any knitted gifts specifically for Christmas. As usual I
don't think about it until the last minute and then I find there's never
enough time to make them. As it did turn out, totally by accident, the cozy
knitted house shoes I made for Gail's class and my first little knifty
knitter hat for Cindy & Henry's class were done in the color Burgundy so
they just turned out very Christmas looking. I've donated them to my shawl
group to go to our sister parish for underprivileged children & adults. I
have another little baby cardigan I made from Home Spun yarn (not in
Christmas colors). I made this project in less than a week and did it as an
experiment in shaping and seaming. My plan is that it will also get donated
and hope given out at Christmas.

Eileen
