[Nfb-krafters-korner] Lettering Plastic Canvas (was Re: FQ - NFBKrafters Korner's Friday's Questionof the Week for 11/26/10)

Hi -- I haven't decided yet.
It doesn't really fit in with the rest of the stitching as the pattern I 
used has kind of diagonal stitches, and the lettering will be pretty much 
straight upright.  I justify this by saying that it makes the words stand 
out all the more, which is the intent...*smile*
"UFF DA" (pronounced like oof da) sounds kind of like a sneeze, doesn't it? 
Seemed appropriate for a tissue box pattern...lol
If anyone has an idea for stitching letters, please pass it along.  I'm just 
making up my own pattern.

What stitch do use for the letters? Are you going to go back over and refill 
the background once you have the letters done? Just curious as I've been 
considering doing some lettered canvas stuff myself.
