I have been having complaints from the teachers regarding people signing up
for classes and I wanted to share this with everyone.
When you sign up for a class you are creating an email that first comes to
me. When I get it I need to check to see if you are a paid member or if
this is the first class you have signed up for. You need to put in each
email when you sign up Your name-first and last], your email address[within the
email message and your phone number that you can be reached at the time of
the class.
I then send each of you a reply back with the notice the class is
confirmed and the phone number that I assign that class. I use to make up a
student list with names and emails and phone numbers, but I have switched over
to forwarding each email to the teacher. As all the information is suppose
to be in that email.
It has been brought to my attention that folks are not including this
information in the sign up email.
With the new Windows 7 your email is unaccessible when I forward this email
to the teachers. We have new teachers willing to teach, but they don't
know your emails or names.
Here is one of the comments that was made to me: "so are people some how
by-passing
the system? Just wondering out loud because at the end of it all you or
any instructor volunteering to give a class has to go digging to get
information
that students should out of courtesy just provide. "
We ask for that phone number in case the class has to be canceled so either
the teacher or I can post email to you,and call you. You have to
understand with storms during this time of the year there are times that phone
calls or emails just can't be done. That is why I provide this information to
the teacher and it comes to me.
So please when you sign up for the classes provide your name, email address
and phone number.
I know that some of the new folks did not know this, but when folks that
have been taking classes for the last 3 years don't provide this
information...
We need your
