[Nfb-krafters-korner] Knitting Tip

I used to stuff the ball of yarn on the end of the needles, but once I
learned that is why my yarn had so many split fibers, I stopped doing it.
Then I used rubber bands, and still do this when I can't find my point
protectors.  But now that I've learned about point protectors, that is my
preference.  Not only to they keep the stitches on the needles 95% of the
time, they prevent the points of the needle from piercing the bag the
project is being carried in.

a rubber band? I haven't seen point protectors in australia, Itry and put
the ball of yarn over the ends if it's not too loosely rapped so the
knitting doesn't slide off so easily.
