Linda;
I sure agree with you, this group has been the best thing, along with the NFB, that has entered my life. I never thought I would be knitting well enough to donate my work to the men at war. I may not be good enough to make the masks, but at least I made , almost compleat, 2 hats. I messed up on the mask and my first hat, but with Joyces motivation, now I have 2 almost finished ones to contribute. I contributed 3 plastic canvis items to my curch and one sold, so I took the other 2 back for my first public sale, in October. This sale will be the chalange of my life. So far, I have only sold with in the NFB and to friends.
I have a lot of ideas, it is how to find the time, keep a home and a full time job. Crafts, music and nature, are the highlites of my life. Crafts go almost everywhere I go. I like to keep my hands busy most of the time. That is why I like crafts that are transportable.
Linda, keep up the good spirit!
Terry P.

I just want to say how much I appreciate the people on this list. Some of you are even my friends on Face Book, and I love it. I have found you to be uplifting and encouraging of each other and you have an adventurous spirit and are not afraid to jump in and try most anything, as far as I can tell. Most of all, you appreciate each other and are an inspiration to me, personally.

I have only been blind for not yet three years. My only contact with other blind people was very minimal and not at all like the people I have met here who are actively working at making things and enjoying krafting/arts with no reservations.

The blind people I have contact with here tell me all the things a blind person cannot do, and they are all things that you guys ARE doing. They have excuses for everything as to why they cannot do things, or why they cannot accomplish things. You guys have no excuses, and instead find and share ways of doing things despite any challenges we all have. This has been wonderful for me to see and hear. Thanks so much for all who share on this list, I really appreciate knowing you. Lynda
