I am like you Terry..wherever I go, my knitting bag goes along. If  get my 
hair done, I knit while I wait for the different steps to get finished, and 
when I visit my daughters on little trips, and everywhere else I go. The 
other things I do have to be done at my studio, such as pottery and my 
beadwork. But, my knitting is very portable. I know some folks work on beads 
while traveling, etc, but that would not be me...I am too ditsy and would 
drop them on the floor and lose them. haha
