I took a skein of worsted weight yarn today and put it into the "cake" form that you do with the ball winder - the skein was $10. which is rever reasonable - I have paind over twice this much in a retail yarn shop for imported alpaca yarn. It knits up so beautifully - and feels so good!
I just love knitting with alpaca and I love wearing my knitted items.
