Maybe we should do a real beginners class on crocheting using our fingers
instead of a hook?

What do you think?

I would have to think out how to do say a single crochet stitch with my
fingers. Any teachers out there willing to do this?

I usually have a dishcloth or dish towel for on the go and bring it
in a backpack or purse with scissors and a sewing needle just in
case. I wish I could crochet though because it sounds like it would
be easier to take along.
Just have a mental block of one hook instead of two needles.
