[Nfb-krafters-korner] questions for Henry

Becky and All Knifty Knitters,
When wrapping the frame you should be able to feel the horizontal (ladder) stitches between the pegs on the inside of the loom, not the outside if you are wrapping the loom properly. The space between the pegs on the outside of the loom when wrapped properly will just have the stitch wrapped around the peg with nothing in between the two pegs, but on the inside of the loom you should be able to feel a horizontal thread (ladder) in between the two pegs. If you continue wrapping in the proper manner all those horizontal threads should be on the inside of your loom. But it still doesn't matter whether you go to the right or left of the beginning peg, just so long as your e-wrap has the horizontal thread carried between the pegs on the inside of the loom and you remain consistent in your direction and wrap for each row, no matter what you do to the stitch (purl, knit or bobble) on the outside.
Hope my directions and explanations are written clear enough to be helpful to all the Knifty Knitters.
Have A Healthy Prosperous New Year to You All,

I did the opposite way and the pattern side was on the wrong side to move up
and cast on for a brim ear warmer whatever you want to call it.   I would
also love to learn more stitches on the Nifty Knitter as I bore easily.  Two
hats and I was done.  Whereas four hats and I was done on the knitting
machine.

Thin yarn on the Nifty Knitter rectangular and, voila,  oh my lovely light
scarf for the warmer climate. I should think on the very wide loom a lovely
Pashmina, or prayer shawl, but hey I could be very wrong, shy smile.

Becky who better sign up and attend the class to learn more, and Jake who
says, oh paw darn it another project.

To All Knifty Knitters,
Henry and I have found out while teaching him, that it really doesn't make
any difference whether you work the circular knifty knitter looms from the
left of the holding/starting peg and wrap the peg clockwise while moving to
the left or whether you start from the right of the holding/starting peg and
wrap the peg counter-clockwise while moving to the right, just so long as
each row you do is continued moving in the same direction. I think it just
is a matter of what hand you are more dominant with. I'm left-handed and
it's easier for me to go around the loom to the left. If you're right handed
and it's more comfortable starting to the right than that is your answer.
Just make sure you continue in that manner for each row.
As soon as he's able to get back on-line with everyone, I'm sure he'll
want to share some new stitches I've taught him. Just give him some time to
perfect them for sharing.

Henry has had trouble with his computer and it has been at the repair shop
since just prior to Christmas.   Since we had 19 inches of snow here  the
repair man has not been able to deliver it back to Henry.  I spoke to  Henry

this morning and he is hoping to be back online in the next day or  so.

Henry is the Nifty Knitter teacher and will answer any questions  shortly.
