[Nfb-krafters-korner] Classes

Hi Lucy;
I do plastic canvis by tutch. I only have enough sight to distinguish obvious colors like black and red and blue. I create my own design or follow a sample by fealing the stitches. If I need to learn a shape or letter, I have someone make just the item, with out the background. Sometimes friends make jumbo diagrams that I can see. I put a coaster patern into word for my class. I used numbers for the rows and columns.
Someone also came up with the idea of using letters for the rows and numbers for the columns. What would be best for you? I could revize the coaster document, if you all want. There are a lot of other coaster and eye glass designs I have created. Many can be used for cleanex boxes, with a little alteration.

Terry P.

Hi,

As a totally blind person, how difficult is it to keep up with the the pattern in doing the plastic canvas work? Are there any totals out there successful with these projects?
I would like to learn, but I am just not sure.
Take care,

Lucy

A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked.
