Joyce and list,
I also agree that a student needs to be in attendance for the first class in
order to continue successfully with the class. I am not against the student
receiving a recording of a class missed if it is not the first one. I may
also not be thinking about all the ramifications....so would be interested
in knowing what other teachers think.
I also think that as wee look at policies and how to make these recordings
workable that a disclaimer needs to be signed upon renewal of membership
that a student or teacher will not forward a recording for another student.
This recording needs to come through the channels and that needs to be
respected. I am sure it is not forwarded in any mean spirit, but again to
preserve the integrity of the recording and respect the intellectujal
property of the teacher.
Best Wishes!
Theresa
