Hmmmm, or possibly one could use it with the larger mesh of a rug hooking
canvas instead of plastic canvas?

There is a cool material that Carol found in Michigan known as t-shirt cloth
and it is called Jazz, and it is two thick for actual plastic canvas, but in
this light I wonder if there is a way to split it into smaller stripts or
use another type of fabric that is washable. The Jazz material is awesome!
