Now maybe something like latch hook canvas is more the material for things
like ribbon and fabric. It is 3.75 holes per inch. To use ribbon, it will
have to be more like a cord or rolled up in a rope sort of for plastic
canvas which is 5 or 7 count won't it? I think standard plastic canvas is 5.
One caution about the latch hook canvas is that you will have to finish the
edge on the back somehow! If you don't, it will unravel with use.

There is a cool material that Carol found in Michigan known as t-shirt cloth
and it is called Jazz, and it is two thick for actual plastic canvas, but in
this light I wonder if there is a way to split it into smaller stripts or
use another type of fabric that is washable. The Jazz material is awesome!
