[Nfb-krafters-korner] The new agreement?

Hello all,

I am a crafter and a student, and I have appreciated all the time the
teachers have given to me and all of us and I understand what the Krafters
Korner was formed for. However, I must comment as I have been part of what
was happening, and I am not in agreement with this statement. The teacher
does have the right to sign away their right, which is what this agreement
wants each teacher to do, but I do not believe most teacher will not agree
to this as it is their personal plans and lessons, and if anyone has the
right to these classes it is the teacher and not any division. If they want
to use their lessons later and it has been published by any division, they
are in violation of copyright and can be sued under copyright violation as
coping published works, even if it was theirs. For this I am truly sorry, as
I feel there will be no teachers to teachers for the blind and that is a
shame. Please reexamine this and consider the personal rights of the teacher
or we will not have any.

Classes will be recorded for dissemination to students that attend the
class. Recordings are provided by the National Federation of the Blind (NFB)
Krafters Division. At the end of class (all sessions for a given class), the
NFB Krafters Division retains a nonexclusive license to copy, distribute or
sell recordings in part or as a whole, including the use for promotional
purposes, without remuneration.
